In particolare noi Italiani siamo ben visti, grazie al lavoro di S.E. Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi Ambasciatore a Doha. Nel 2005 abbiamo raddoppiato il livello delle nostre esportazioni. Il Qatar oggi puo' esere paragonato per il livello di investimenti a quello che era Dubai 10 anni fa'. Se quancuno ha intenzione di investire questo e' il momento.
Ti indico alcuni motivi che dovrebbero indurre le aziende Italiane ad
investire:
costo del lavoro molto basso e competitivo a quello Cinese (fuso
orario - 2 ore, 6 ore di volo)
Livello di tassazione trascurabile
massima flessibilita' del lavoro
Enorme disponibilita' economica (PIL +20,8, disavanzo di bilancio nel 2005 pari a 5mld $)
Ovviamente, le preoccupazioni delle aziende Italiane riguardano Il supporto locale e la conoscenza delle regole di business per avviare un'attivita'.
Questo supporto puo' essere fornito dall'Italian Business Council Qatar
(IBCQ) di cui sono VP- Treasurer. Saro' in Italia dal 20 al 26 Maggio e mi farebbe molto piacere incontrarti per discutere su come realizzare una fattiva collaborazione tra il Canova e IBCQ. Lascio a te decidere se e' il caso di incontrare anche qualche imprenditore interessato al Qatar. 1)Armando è stato un sostenitore della primissima ora del Canova Club, prima che emigrasse a Gibilterra;
2) Ha avuto qualche traversia personale che lo rendono in una situazione particolare da supportare;
3) Ad ogni modo, Gibilterra è così peculiare in tutti i sensi da meritare una particolare attenzione per chi fosse curioso/interessato
